This privacy policy explains how Creative Empathy Psychotherapy Services Ltd, trading as Internal Worlds, collects, uses, and protects your personal information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and my professional obligations as a registered psychotherapist with the UKCP. I, Naintara Land, am a child, adolescent and adult psychotherapist, parent psychotherapist, and clinical supervisor, registered and accredited as a full member of the UKCP. I provide services through my company, Creative Empathy Psychotherapy Services Ltd, which trades as Internal Worlds. I am committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with GDPR and the ethical standards of my profession.

I collect personal information that is necessary for our work together, including:

Session notes: Brief, anonymized records of our sessions, where applicable.
Professional information (for supervisees): Relevant work details for supervision purposes.
In addition to the personal information necessary for therapeutic or supervisory work, I may also collect email addresses for those who opt in to receive updates about events, programs, or other offerings.

Provide psychotherapy or supervision services.

Fulfill my legal and ethical obligations, such as safeguarding.

7. How Long I Keep Your Data
Adults: Records are kept for 7 years after our work ends.
Children and adolescents: Records are kept until the client turns 25 years old or 26 if they were 17 at the end of therapy.
Supervisees: Records are kept for 7 years after the end of supervision.
After these periods, data is securely destroyed.
For subscribers to my email list, your data will be retained for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your information will be deleted from my mailing list records.
8. Data Breach Procedure
In the unlikely event of a data breach, Creative Empathy Psychotherapy Services Ltd will notify the ICO and affected individuals as required by law.
